Fire crews from both Tamworth stations and a team from Lichfield spent last night battling a fire at La Clique Bar Former Bullitt Nightclub believed to have started around 8.20pm on Wednesday 20th March.
The flames have destroyed the entire club, which occupies the ground floor of the Silver Street building. Former bar owner Paul Brindley, who sold the club last year, has taken to his Facebook page to thank people for their messages of support and concern
A message on La Clique’s Facebook page posted late last night read:
“Thanks for all your kind messages. “Everyone is fine and thankfully no one is hurt.”
The cause of the blaze is still unknown. Investigations are ongoing.
